I feel like shit. Both mentally, and physically. I woke up with a cold yesterday, and I’m being a huge baby about it. I fucking hate being sick like this. On the bright side, Holly stayed home yesterday and napped with me all day.

I’m looking forward to the weekend, and spending it all with Holly. So far our only plan is to go to TigerDirect.ca (it’s weird when business names include domains) so I can spend more money there. I just replaced the sansa e260 I gave to an insane brawd in Victoria. Holly is bringing it home today since I had it shipped to her funeral home. I’m not looking forward to loading it with music again. It took an entire morning the last time, and I’m pretty sure I deleted both the play lists and Media Player 11 off my machine just a couple weeks ago, before deciding I missed it enough to buy another. The other things I want to spend money on are a 1TB my book HDD, and either a 16gb USB stick, or microSD card. Then later that evening, I’m going to get a pair of ladies stoned, and possibly eat cake.

I have to book my flight in the next couple days, and find out about shipping my bike out there. I was considering bringing my trailer, but I’m not certain I will be able to manage it on Gabriola. I can’t remember how heavy it is, but I’m pretty sure I’m kidding myself thinking I can carry a load of groceries from the village to where I’m staying without dying. When I go, I’m going to attempt to pack nothing more than my Crumpler bag with my laptop, and one other backpack. Last time I was really over packed, and I’m hoping that by bringing less I can minimize the amount of cab rides I have to pay for, and make any further traveling I may need to do, easier to do. I still have no idea what I plan to do after this course. I assume I will still have a large portion of this book to illustrate, but after that, no idea…
