Welcome to a small virtual tour of my new temporary living quarters. This spacious 3 bedroom trailer (with addition) is complete with 2 bathrooms (both really gross), a kitchen (minus a fridge, and a sense of style), a wood stove (too bad it’s July) and a wonderful view of the ISBA.
Here’s my new bedroom…

Note the custom pillow (composed of my dirty shorts and hoody), the elegant shag carpeting, and the lovely wood paneling. My first sleep in here was brutal. I’m working on getting some blankets and a pillow, but for now I’m just glad to have a sheet. Who knows where that mattress has been!
Now, on to the living area…

It’s a nice open concept, which has been kept open by a complete lack of furniture. There is only one foot stool, a t.v. tray table, and a couple end tables with lamps (that don’t work) propped atop them. The focal point of this room is obviously the wood stove. I bet it would heat this shit hole up nicely.
And now, the kitchen…

Any chef would love this spectacular prep space (any chef who doesn’t need a fridge at all). It’s full of character, and the little details – like the vinyl flooring, and shelf paper, or the old floor vent in front of the stove which has been hammered flat (poorly) and duct taped over – make it a truly custom home, with that “lived died in” feeling.
And of course no home dump should be without a tacky knickknack hanging on the wall to remind you how wonderful life is. Like you could forget when you’re surrounded by beauty like this.

Don’t be jealous.

So awesome!! That’s what I’d like to live in when I move there.
