Saturday night my parents and I went to see the fireworks in Nanaimo, near the ferry terminal. They have them every year as part of their annual Bath Tub Race celebrations. They take the place of the Victoria Day fireworks, and I am glad for that. If it had have taken place then, we wouldn’t have had the beautiful night we did. First it started with this sunset, then came a rainbow, followed by another rainbow, then lightning, then fireworks! It was amazing.
I took a short video of the fireworks, and tried to catch the lightning at the same time. It’s not the best video, but it’ll do.
