Yesterday I came to Vancouver to hang out with Jeff for a few days before I head home to Ontario for my mum’s birthday, Ryan and Amber’s wedding, and the In These Walls show. I’m looking forward to seeing tons of people I haven’t in years, and spending every moment I can with Holly.
I still have a huge pile of work I’ll have to be doing, but since I work from wherever my laptop is, it makes it pretty easy to manage. The only issue is going to be communicating with James about drawings. I’m more than half way done the Bents section now, and I’m hoping a short recess from the island puts me in a better mood. Lately I’ve been hating living in the trailer, missing people, and just working constantly without anything to do for fun or exercise. Even James said (as I was leaving yesterday) that I should enjoy myself, and take it easy. He’s been telling me he sees how hard I’m working, and he seems pleased. That’s good news to me, because the more he likes me, the more he shares his knowledge with me, and the more likely I am to actually end up regularly visiting, or possibly living (one day) on the island. I am hating it at the moment, but I’m not getting to experience it in the way it should be – sitting at a desk all day in front of a computer is no way to enjoy an island as beautiful as Gabriola is.
Today I worked for a few hours while Jeff had a meeting, then we went to the arcade for a bit. I love that arcade. I meant to bring my camera, but I forgot as I always do. I wanted to get some photos of all the games i love that they have there. i also wanted to get a shot of the peep show booths. It’s a classy arcade. After some pinball and Buck Hunter, we came back here and ordered a pizza. We killed some zombies, then just finished watching Bruno. It made jeff laugh so hard at the beginning, I thought he was going to hurt himself. I think Holly will love it. I’ll find out in a little more than 24 hours!!
Above is a new doodle, inspired by our trip to the AGO next weekend. I’ve decided to title it: Bongbot Gets Dressed Up And Takes A Touch Lamp To A Fancy Art Gallery To See An Exhibit On The World’s Most Pointless Interesting Blog.
Oh! I almost forgot I wanted to mention that I’m modeling a penny farthing. It’s for a special project, and I’m pretty stoked about it. I’ll post pictures as I finish it.
Bedtime.

Uhm, hi….I’m so getting bored of this one. New update please. <3
