Good morning bloggy! It’s windy as fuck outside right now, and it’s been raining off and on for a couple of hours. I have the windows and doors wide open, and I’m sitting in my bed nice and warm. I haven’t slept yet. I  got a drawing done, and then made the image above on a break. Now I’m chatting with Holly before she takes the boys to the zoo for the day, and contemplating going to bed for a bit. I’m not tired at all, but I’m worried that if I don’t get some sleep now, I’ll be useless later today. Not to imply that what I do is very hard, but I have to keep track of lots of numbers and details, and that gets harder as I get sleepy. Even if I’m not sleepy, but I’ve been up for too long, my eyes get so dry it hurts to look at the screen.

My friend Peter invited me to a party he’s having on Valdez Island this weekend. It, like most of the parties out here, is 3 – 4 days long, depending on how much party people have left in them after day 3. It would be cool to go, but I’m not sure I’ll make it over there. Peter said just to call his cell and they’d send a boat for me, but I’m not sure that I can also get a boat ride back a few hours later (I can only spare a few hours, then I have to get back to work). I might call him tomorrow and see if that’s possible, and if so, head over there for a little while. It could be fun, as long as the weather is decent.

I’ve decided to try and nap for a little while. Hopefully I feel extra productive when I wake up.
