This morning I was looking at stuff on the Internet while Holly was getting ready for work and I came across some wonderful news. It turns out there was an announcement last month which I completely missed. The Kids in the Hall are back together, and have written a new miniseries for CBC. Better TV news I can’t imagine.
The series is apparently a murder mystery – whodunit type of thing, where all the prominent members of a small community are killed, and the secrets of the small town begin to be revealed through the trial of the accused killer.
They are playing all the main characters from what I’ve read so far, and Bruce is playing a retired hockey player who is now over 600lbs! I can’t wait to see it, but I’m sad it’s only an 8 part miniseries. Everything I’ve read says it’s supposed to air January 2010, so I hopefully don’t have long to wait.
