I was told to update by my blogs only devotee, so I suppose I have to. I’m having a tough time getting work done today, so I’m taking a break to hopefully help refocus on what I need to do.
I had a conversation with James the other day, and it turns out we’re going to be splitting the book into two separate books. It makes a lot of sense to split them up, even though the two styles (log/timber) are so similar and complimentary to each other.
This means as soon as I fine tune these Bents drawings, we can begin laying out the text and images, and possibly get one on the shelves while I finish the other. Unfortunately, I still have a ton of work to do before I get to that point.
Above is a dude I made the other night while Holly was watching the finale of So You Think You Can Dance. She suggested the addition of the clock chain, which I think totally makes this dude. That and the wedding band – which, when asked by Holly, I explained – “It’s because he’s committed to kicking your ass, and smoking your grass”.
I call him Shogun Snoozebot.
